Introducing the Journals

This section goes into deeper detail about the ‘Journals’ I discussed in ‘The Small Things’. It includes the prompts I use in my own journals that will guide your ‘road to recovery’. I would advise to do the activities in ‘The Dark Side’s’ Journal first as they marry up with the ‘Road to Recovery’ Journal activities. It is important to complete both sections to reap the most benefits.

Remember that the journals are an ongoing ‘small thing’, so continue to utilise them as much as possible. Although I have recovered from depression, I continue to use all my journals. Keep them close.

Be wary that journaling can be quite an emotional and confronting activity, so be kind and patient with yourself.
