“For every minute spent organising, an hour is earned.”
Benjamin Franklin
Having a sea of dark thoughts constantly running through our heads makes it feel impossible to stay on top of day-to-day tasks. Therefore, emptying out as much as possible will help to free up your mind a little.
Depression can strip you of your daily structure. A planner allows you to visualise time as a physical element that you can play with and utilise to the best of your ability. Planning will add a routine to your life and help you get back on track.
A monthly planner stays permanently on my wall and in my bullet journal, mapping out my foreseeable future. I also find adding a to-do list on the side serves as a gentle reminder to get things done and provides a feeling of accomplishment when I cross items off.

Get planning!
